Dr Luke Bookallil has enjoyed a lifelong interest in sports and continues to keep fit. He played rugby union at school and university. Dr Luke competed at national level as a teenage middle distance runner. He completed his Masters in Sports Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2007. He was the school doctor at The Armidale School from 2007 until his departure in April 2009. He has been the doctor for the annual Armidale Rugby Camp and numerous rugby games.

Dr Luke consults patients with sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems at any age, including the not so sporty to elite sportspeople. A referral is not required.

He consults at two locations in Coffs Harbour.
